Katie-Kelly and Tyler’s wedding day was the kick-off wedding to our Charlotte wedding season this year and I could not have imagined a better start to the year. I have adored these two since their engagement session and I am so thrilled with how their day turned out. There were so many moments in this day that made me tear-up which is pretty hard to do since I attend about 20 weddings per year. I LOVE KK’s style. Everything about it, and because of that, this post got a little long. This was my first wedding of 3 at The Whitehead Manor this year and I am so happy to be shooting at this venue so much. It is gorgeous with so many photo-spots and the ladies that run it are unmatched. Thank you Paris for putting on such a great day! Full list of wedding vendors are at the bottom of this post.
KK & Tyler, you know how much I adore you two. Thank you for letting me be apart of the best day of your lives. Please keep in touch!
There are few things I love more than running around in my hometown city with one of our beautiful engaged couples. Erica and Chris were so laid and back and we had such a good time walking around the Uptown Charlotte and finding some amazing photo spots along the way. These two met in a kick ball league so right away I knew they are would be a fun couple, and I was right! I cannot wait for their wedding in the vineyards of VA next year.

I was interviewed in the recent issue of Carolina Bride and one of the questions asked was, “If you could share a meal with anyone, who would it be?” While many people would answer a famous person or maybe a beloved author or musician, I answered for all my friends from my time in Lebanon to be in one room at the same time. Since leaving Beirut in 2008 many of us have scattered around the U.S. and the world. What I wouldn’t give to have us all back together again. read more
